Tasman St Vet Centre alerted us to this POISON WARNING: Info for Wellington Dog Owners:
Dead possum.
On 29th October, 2012 The Greater Wellington Regional Council will be reinstating a possum control program near the landfill.
They’ll be using poisons from the Brooklyn wind turbine, south to the landfill entrance on Ohiro Road. The entrances to public areas will have warning signs.

Keep an eye on your dogs; keep them close. Make sure they don’t eat things while you’re out walking.
