It’s summer in the Northern hemisphere, and lots of owners are taking their dogs out and about with them. There are some obvious, and some unknown dangers to be alert to though.
In one case, in West Sussex, United Kingdom, a dog was found to be suffering poisoning after ingesting toxic algae from a local pond:
